Ballinsheen House & Gardens is a luxury award winning boutique style townhouse
with self catering apartments nestled in lush landscaped gardens on the edge of the Burren. Architect designed townhouse with several patio/deck areas throughout the gardens to sit and enjoy the lovely scenery with ample free parking.
We are ideally located to explore the Burren National Park, The Cliffs of Moher and only ten minutes drive from Doolin Pier for boat trips to the Aran Islands or a Cliffs of Moher cruise. Lahinch beach is a 20 minute drive from us for golfing, surfing or a dip in the ocean.
Apartments at Ballinsheen House & Gardens is located in the pretty village of
Lisdoonvarna with plenty of bars, shops and restaurants. We are situated in an elevated position giving charming view across the countryside and yet only five minutes walk into the town centre
Ours Gardens surround the townhouse on the edge of the Burren and part of the Burren & Cliffs of Moher UNESCO Geopark. We have tried to create a garden that is compatible with the surrounding landscape in a sustainable way using local flagstone for the low walls surrounding the raised beds, repurposing and upcycling old materials where possible in the gardens. It is a contemporary garden with traditional elements filled with an abundance of both well known and rarer plants with pathways and steps leading to hidden and mini garden areas with plenty of seating area to sit and enjoy.

"The Gardens are beautiful, and we enjoyed exploring them and relaxing in the gazebo. The apartment was very clean and comfortable, we felt right at home. Mary was a lovely host, very friendly and helpful! She gave restaurant recommendations, and helped us arrange our travel plans to see the Cliffs and explore the area. We had a bit of a glitch with our train tickets back to Dublin, and she helped us sort that out as well. I highly recommend staying here, we would definitely come back."
